About TOA Adopt a Star Program

Adopt a Star Program
The TAO is pleased to announce the launching of our Adopt a Star Program by offering the public the ability to adopt and register a star in their chosen name. There are a given number of very bright stars in our sky. We will be registering Stars according to their brightness. You may also pick your favorite star or leave the selection up to us.

Collage NGC884 Albireo Adopted stars and their chosen name will be recorded next to the existing official name of the star on the TAO Master Star Adoption Registry and placed on display at the Twillingate Astronomical Observatory in Newfoundland, Canada.

Our Adopt a Star Program will make an ideal gift for Birthdays, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Anniversaries, Graduations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Weddings, Engagements, Christenings, Promotions, Memorial of a loved one who has passed and most importantly … just because.
